Why I created my magnus opus

I started writing when I was 6.  Nothing formal, nothing fancy.  Just diary entries in a little book with a lock that captured the innocence of a young girl full of wonder and joy.

All at once, writing became an internal place of refuge.  As, I grew older, writing was a trusted place to share my joys, my struggles, and my secrets.  My life was chronicled in notebooks, on backs of napkins or anything I could write on.  The funny thing is I never realized that in these seemingly ordinary details was an extraordinary person.  I hadn’t fully grasped self-love to know how valuable these honest pages and lessons would turn out to be to those with whom I have shared my story.  The other thing I had been doing religiously from the time I was a little girl was listening compassionately and with love to other people’s stories, from all walks of life, ages and backgrounds.  As I grew older, I could listen to them on all parts of the globe since I was traveling more.

Like me, these extraordinary people didn’t quite see their light, their gifts that they impart/would impart in this world.  Was it because they were not deemed “famous” by society?  There are countless books written about people whose lives may or may not connect with another human being.  I thought, why not help people I meet to tell their own incredible stories?  Why not guide them as I had others in the past?  In doing so, I hope to be able to let every woman feel how “famous” she is in her own right.  Her unique and incomparable story deserves to be told not only for herself but for future generations she hopes to share it with.

I have learned how important it is to truly listen in order to discern people’s hearts and hear the incredible lessons they’ve learned, different remarkable things they’ve accomplished, tragedies and transitions they have overcome or are working through, passions that ignite their souls and what’s ahead –all the things that shape them.

Each person’s story has been so remarkable that it seemed only natural to use this life gift of listening and drawing people’s insides out to help them create their life story and their legacy.  Their life story is their greatest work which is the definition of the words, “Magnus Opus”.  That is how the name of  the company was born and here we are.  I am so looking forward to learning about you and your story and helping you to capture it for yourself and future generations.

In love and light,

Rosanna
